No, there are no tryouts. We adapt activities to meet the skill and comfort level of each participant. Although this is a recreational activity, those who want to participate in scrimmages or state tournaments are welcome to do so. 

Yes, we welcome parents to volunteer as coaches or assistants for NOVA Patriots- Information can be found at the Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services website.
